After scary injury, Hobbs ready to help

For roughly five seconds, Ellis Hobbs couldn’t feel his legs. His lower body stayed motionless on the Lincoln Financial Field turf. His arms trembled. His mind tried to make sense of the scenario. But his legs remained hauntingly still and numb. Hobbs still isn’t sure what enabled him to stagger back to his feet and toward the sideline. “Once I came to, it happened by the blessing of God,” he recalled Monday, after the Eagles’ Organized Team Activity for rookies and selected veterans. “Those are things no science or medicine can explain those things.
