Another Eagle Signs

June 12th, 2010

Oklahoma linebacker Keenan Clayton has signed a 4 year contract today, making him the seventh Eagles draft pick to sign. Clayton was a converted safety who has (obviously) great cover skills and speed, making him ideal for either outside linebacker positions, which he has been practicing at during the voluntary workouts. Now that he has a deal in place, he will report to Lehigh ready to compete for a starting spot (or at least special teams duty). In other news, the Eagles have placed Marlin Jackson on injured reserve, ending his first season in Philadelphia before it even began. Hopefully we give him a shot next year because I was really excited to see what he could do.
