April takes pass on Steelers, joins Eagles

Bobby April, who interviewed this week for the Steelers’ special teams coordinator vacancy, signed today with the Philadelphia Eagles. Agent Frank Murtha confirmed that April, who met with Steelers coach Mike Tomlin on Sunday and also interviewed with San Francisco 49ers coach Mike Singletary, accepted a similar position with Philadelphia.
