Donovan McNabb’s 33rd birthday on Wednesday drew more attention than usual. If he were an accountant or doctor, he might be considered a man on the rise, yet to reach his prime. But for quarterbacks, 33 is considered the twilight of an NFL career. McNabb is often asked about his remaining NFL lifespan as if the sand has almost completely filtered through his career hourglass. “I feel great,” McNabb said in his weekly press conference. “One thing about being here, you can kind of be at ease. “When you look at our locker room, you’ll see guys who were in high school when you’ve been playing in the league and guys who played with you on PlayStation or Xbox or whatever it may be.
