Awful in Oakland: Raiders stun Birds

Donovan McNabb was hounded, harassed, flustered and frustrated for the first time this season. And somehow, the sad-sack Oakland Raiders made this happen. The Eagles, the NFL’s second-highest scoring team, failed to score a touchdown today against one of the NFL’s worst teams and stunningly lost 13-9 at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. McNabb was sacked six times by a Raiders defense that came with heavy, unrelenting pressure. He led the Eagles to Oakland’s 44-yard-line with less than three minutes to play but his fourth-down pass to Jason Avant was errant.
