Babin signs one-year offer sheet with Titans

The Tennessee Titans have signed defensive end Jason Babin to a one-year deal worth $1 million. Babin’s previous contract with the Philadelphia Eagles contained a right of first refusal, despite his being an unrestricted free agent. According to a league source, the contract contains a couple of “incentives” designed to discourage the Eagles from matching the offer, but does not contain a true poison pill that deals in the past for restricted free agents have often had.
