Bobby April, hired by Eagles, won’t be Lions assistant

Bobby April won’t be the Lions’ new special teams coordinator. April, rumored to be a target of the Lions after Stan Kwan was dismissed, has been hired by the Eagles, who fired Ted Daisher. Daisher was Philadelphia’s special teams coach for one season.
