Brent Celek continues to surprise

The NFL Scouting Combine of 2007 included 16 tight ends. Brent Celek wasn’t one of them. Seven tight ends were selected in the NFL Draft that year before the Philadelphia Eagles picked Celek, the LaSalle High School and University of Cincinnati product. Celek, who returns home with the Eagles Friday for a preseason game against the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium, has proven a lot of people wrong in the last three years. Celek led Philadelphia with 76 receptions last season and is one of the core players the organization is counting on as it moves out of the Donovan McNabb era. Two years removed from an appearance in the NFC championship game, the Eagles have 10 different offensive starters
