Brian Westbrook puts on camp show

The Eagles didn’t do any live “to-the-ground” hitting during yesterday’s morning workout at Lehigh University, but there was plenty of good theater anyway.At the end of the practice, running back Brian Westbrook emerged from the Varsity House and put on a one-man show for an audience of two: coach Andy Reid and trainer Rick Burkholder.In an effort to prove to Reid and Burkholder that he is ready to return before the mid-August target date the head coach outlined at the start of training camp, Westbrook made a series of cuts through an obstacle course of orange practice dummies.There was no indication that Westbrook is feeling any lingering affects from right ankle surgery in early June. …
