Broncos tight end Tony Scheffler has been traded to his hometown team, the Detroit Lions, in a three-team trade that sends two currently undisclosed draft choices to Denver and former top-10 draft pick and outside linebacker Ernie Sims to the Philadelphia Eagles. “Restore the Roar!” Scheffler said this morning as he answered the phone, referring to the Lions’ slogan.
