Brown, Gocong Traded to Browns

The Eagles have made a trade — no, not that one. The Birds are sending cornerback Sheldon Brown and linebacker Chris Gocong to the Cleveland Browns, the team confirmed, for fourth- and fifth-round picks in the April 22-24 draft and linebacker Alex Hall. The trade was first reported when sources told Clark Judge of CBSSports.com of discussions. The picks are 105th and 137th overall in what is said to be a deep, talented draft. Hall, 6-5, 250, played in 14 games last season with no starts and had 10 tackles. He started two games as a rookie in 2008 and finished with 28 tackles.
