Brown, Samuel hope to play against Redskins, but subs are ready

ASANTE SAMUEL and Sheldon Brown practiced yesterday, Brown on a limited basis. Officially, Samuel is “questionable” for tomorrow’s visit from the Redskins with a neck injury, and Brown is “probable” with the hamstring tear he played through on Sunday night at Chicago. Unofficially, both starting corners expect to play. But the situation is tenuous enough that Dimitri Patterson and Ramzee Robinson took most of the practice reps this week, and Patterson and Robinson know they are a tweak away from center stage. They say they’re ready and they aren’t worried, though Eagles fans might have concerns, given that Patterson was the fifth corner until a few weeks ago and Robinson was sitting by the …
