Do you remember 2004 when Donovan McNabb was throwing the ball down the field to Terrell Owens and Todd Pinkston? Well, I think we’re going to see more of that this season. This fits McNabb. It’s not a coincidence that this offense is being tailored to fit No. 5. He is not really a dink-and-dunk type of quarterback. He is at his best when he’s letting them go downfield. At practice [yesterday], McNabb was letting it rip downfield play after play. The Eagles seem to be making it a point to let McNabb throw the ball on deep and intermediate routes.
