Cowboys’ dry spell mystifies Jones

Life has been good for Jerry Jones the past 13 years. The Dallas Cowboys owner watched grandchildren grow up, served as Hall of Fame presenter for one of his favorite players and built a stadium that’s the envy of the NFL. But there was one big problem for Jones. The Cowboys did not win a playoff game. “It’s surreal to be sitting here having to even answer that question,” Jones said. “I wouldn’t have dreamed in 1996 that we wouldn’t have (won) a playoff (game since then), and I wouldn’t have dreamed we would have had the turnover in coaches we’ve had.
