This time, the players didn’t trudge off the field with their heads hanging, ashamed of their performance, as they did after last season’s debacle at Lincoln Financial Field. This time, they walked off the field laughing and in sole possession of first place in the NFC East. These Cowboys showed they’re different from the soft, soulless bunch we watched crumble time after time after time last season when faced with adversity. This team deserves to be part of the conversation about the NFC’s best teams.
