Cut by Colts, Baskett returns to the Eagles

AS VACATION SPOTS GO, Indianapolis ranks high on very few lists. That’s how wideout Hank Baskett is treating his 6-month hiatus from the Eagles, though. Playing for the Colts this past season was nice, until that onside kick business in the Super Bowl, then it turned not-nice in a hurry. Now, maybe that he’s back where Baskett feels he belongs, he won’t spend the rest of his life rehashing it. “It feels good. It feels like I went on a little vacation and then came back home,” Baskett said yesterday after signing a 1-year deal as a free agent. The Eagles really never wanted to lose Baskett, a solid role player for three seasons. But somebody had to go to get Michael Vick onto the roster …
