If the Eagles truly hit rock bottom in today’s 24-0 loss to Dallas, they have to hope they’re for a bounce-back effort next weekend in a playoff game they were hoping to avoid. It would make sense, since they really couldn’t play any worse. The Eagles lost their handle of a first-round playoff bye and home-field advantage for the second round by collapsing in their maiden voyage to new Cowboys Stadium, suffering their second loss of the season to their division rivals. They also fell from the No. 2 seed to the No. 6 seed and will travel back here Saturday for a third showdown against red-hot Dallas, which ended its season with consecutive shutouts for the first time in team history and …
