DeSean Jackson’s injury minor
The Eagles aren’t panicked after star receiver DeSean Jackson left Saturday’s afternoon practice on a cart after injuring his back during a routine drill. The team described the injury as minor, but didn’t indicate if the All-Pro wideout and punt returner would be able to practice today. The injury occurred during a non-contact drill after Jackson caught a pass in stride between linebacker Omar Gaither and cornerback Asante Samuel. He stayed down on the grass for a few minutes, eventually hobbled to his feet and left the field on the cart. Coach Andy Reid had hoped to avoid injuries early in camp.
