Donovan McNabb is open to Vikings, but it all depends on Brett Favre
March 27th, 2010
Itemizing a few things … Item: Reports in the Philadelphia Inquirer and on ESPN.com indicate that Donovan McNabb would prefer a trade to the Vikings over other NFL teams. I think: It makes sense, seeing as how Brad Childress was McNabb’s offensive coordinator in Philly. The Vikings either have to get a firm commitment from Brett Favre or re-evaluate waiting for Favre to finish his annual flip-flop dance when a quarterback of McNabb’s caliber is available now. Item: Tubby Smith’s name continues to be linked to the opening at Oregon. I think: Never expected Smith to be around for the long haul, so if he leaves it won’t be much of a surprise.
