Earlier Saturday, FoxSports.com’s Jay Glazer tweeted that the Redskins inquired about Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb, whom the Philadelphia Eagles apparently are determined to trade. And Glazer emphasized in a follow-up tweet that the Redskins’ interest was “more than just mild … they even talked players.” Glazer, however, did not indicate when the trade talks occurred. If the Redskins did express interest in dealing for McNabb, they probably did so much earlier in the process, a person involved with the situation said Saturday night.
