The Philadelphia Eagles finally are admitting they’d trade Donovan McNabb. Actually, it was Eagles coach Andy Reid, who told reporters during the NFL owners meetings, “I’d say I’m listening. I’m not saying I’m doing anything. I’m keeping my ears open, which we do on every player.” There’s talk about the St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders pursuing McNabb. There should be talk about the Vikings doing it, too — depending on the outcome of a conversation they need to have with Brett Favre. Unless he already has told them that, yeah, he’s coming back and they’re not sharing that tidbit with us, the Vikings have to get Favre on the horn and tell him: “Look, we gotta know.
