Door creaks open for Eagles’ Reggie Brown

When he came to the Eagles in the 2005 draft, Reggie Brown had the potential to become the team’s No. 1 wide receiver, some believed. When the final cuts were announced before this season started, many were surprised he still had a job. Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said Brown may get one more chance to prove himself when the Eagles visit Atlanta on Sunday. “It’s about opportunity,” Mornhinweg said of the 28-year-old University of Georgia product. “He got banged up several times. And the other guys made good on their opportunities, and he’s been fighting like heck to get another opportunity and it looks like it’s going to happen this week.” Brown is expected to see more …
