Dungy: Michael Vick won’t cause stir with McNabb; Collinsworth not so sure

Tony Dungy joined Eagles coach Andy Reid on Wednesday in saying he doesn’t think Michael Vick’s presence will foster a quarterback controversy in Philadelphia. “I just don’t think that’s going to be an issue,” said Dungy, the former Colts coach who’s now an NBC analyst. “And I don’t think that Michael is going to be a guy that’s going to go in there and try to split the lockerroom.” Dungy served as Vick’s mentor after he left jail in July and advised him before he signed with the Eagles. He said Vick is pleased to be back in the NFL and with Philadelphia, and doesn’t think the quarterback will complain about taking a back seat to incumbent starter Donovan McNabb. “He’s excited about having …
