After three seasons as an elusive triple threat for the Air Force Academy, Chad Hall set football aside for two years to make sure our nation’s military aircraft lifted off and touched down without any dents, cracks or loose bolts. “You think a car is tough, an F-16 is 10 times worse,” Hall said. “They’re always breaking.” But after ascending to second in command for the 421st Fighter Squadron (the Black Widows), Hall is ready to give up his aeronautics career to resume the one he left behind.
