Eagles’ Curtis says he’s ready for his return to the field

December 18th, 2009

While there has been no official announcement about his status for Sunday’s game, wide receiver Kevin Curtis said he’s ready to return to the field. “I feel good,” Curtis said. “I want to play and I expect to be fully accountable. I just want to go out and play hard.” Curtis has been practicing with the team the past two weeks and he said he believes he could have played if called upon last week. He has not played since the second game of the season, when he went down with a knee injury against New Orleans. The Eagles had kept him on the active roster, hoping he could return for the stretch run and the playoffs.
