DeSean Jackson is one of the best bargains in the NFL, and from the looks of things, he’s going to continue to be one for a while longer. The Eagles’ Pro Bowl wide receiver and punt returner wants a contract extension. He deserves a contract extension. To borrow a term popularized by his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, DeSean clearly has “outperformed” the 4-year, $3.47 million contract he signed with the Eagles 2 years ago when character, work ethic and size questions were responsible for him sliding to the Eagles in the middle of the second round of the 2008 draft.
