Eagles fans get in on the action at ‘Flight Night’

If the Phillies and the Eagles are in a competition to see who owns the hearts of local sports fans, the Birds scored a knockout last night.Of course, the teams aren’t vying for your love, and it really doesn’t matter if this has become a baseball town or if it remains slanted toward the midnight green, but last night’s inaugural “Flight Night” at Lincoln Financial Field proved there are still plenty of football-crazy fans.The only blemish on the evening was defensive starters Stewart Bradley and Ellis Hobbs leaving the field with injuries – but more on that later, as they don’t appear to be serious.Parachuters hit their midfield mark to open the night, followed by team introductions. …
