Eagles give Michael Vick courage award

Public perception of Michael Vick varies, but inside the Eagles’ headquarters Vick clearly has the respect of his teammates. Vick on Wednesday received the team’s annual Ed Block Courage award given to one player from every NFL team who best exemplifies sportsmanship and courage. The award is voted on by teammates and multiple sources said Vick won the award unanimously. “I’ve only been in this locker room 3 1/2 months. For those guys to feel that way about me, it means a whole lot to me,” Vick said. “Like I said before, it couldn’t be with a greater group of guys.” The former Falcons superstar quarterback has assumed a limited role in the Eagles’ offense after missing two seasons to serve …
