Eagles mum about free agency plans

Without major progress made in labor negotiations between its union and owners, the NFL is about to nose-dive into a new year at 12:01 a.m. Friday with the start of free agency and an anticipated uncapped season. For some teams, it means an unlimited bank account to spend on the relatively few unrestricted free agents who reach the open market. For others, it represents an uneven playing field that makes it difficult to improve rosters dramatically for the 2010 season. The Eagles have no restrictions and plenty of cash. But they were typically evasive on their plans.
