Eagles’ Parrish puts a kick into fight for punter’s job

If words of praise were enough to win a job in the National Football League, Ken Parrish might become the Eagles’ punter. Special-teams coordinator Bobby April spent much of a news conference Sunday answering questions about Parrish and praising him. But in nearly every instance he used his next breath to remind reporters how much he thought of Sav Rocca, indicating that the incumbent was in position to retain the job. “Sav has done well, but [Parrish] has done [well], too.
