Eagles planning Vick’s public appearances

Michael Vick now knows when he’ll get a chance to play and we could soon find out about his first public appearance away from the field. After NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced yesterday that Vick would be eligible to return for the Eagles’ Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Lincoln Financial Field, team president Joe Banner was asked when the quarterback would start making the rounds in the community as promised when he signed three weeks ago. “I think you’ll see Michael at an event very soon,” Banner said before last night’s 38-27 loss to the New York Jets in the preseason finale. “We’ll be announcing something after we wrap up some details.
