Eagles QB Kolb says he’s not in contract talks

Kevin Kolb joined Howard Eskin and Ike Reese on WIP-AM in Philadelphia and refuted rumors that he’s engaged in contract talks with the Eagles. “We haven’t even talked to them as far as I know,” the quarterback said (via Sports Radio Interviews). “That totally blew me away whenever that was reported because it was obviously false. Yeah, that has not been discussed yet.” The Eagles selected Kolb in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft, and he’s viewed as the franchise’s future QB. Kolb, who appeared in five games in 2009, was thrust into a quarterback triangle when the team added Michael Vick to join him and Donovan McNabb.
