Eagles set to keep McNabb in green

Having first coached Brett Favre, Steve Young and Jeff Garcia, Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg sees parallels between those three and Donovan McNabb. One particular trait that links the Eagles’ quarterback with the aforementioned three: Each of them flourished deep into their careers. Favre, Young and Garcia combined for 16 Pro Bowl appearances and two league MVPs after their 30th birthdays. “It’s a known fact they end up maturing a little bit later, in some cases, in most cases, I would think,” Mornhinweg said.
