Eagles will regret signing troubled quarterback Michael Vick

The Eagles may be the Super Bowl favorites in the NFC, but they had a much better chance of hanging out in South Beach in February if they had not signed Michael Vick, the notorious dog-killer who used to be the most exciting player in the league. Vick has a right to resume his career and make a living to support his family, so that is not the issue. He did unconscionable things to dogs, paid the price with 18months in federal prison, costing him two seasons in the prime of his career, in addition to the guts of his $130 million contract, which has led to him filing for bankruptcy.
