Fletcher Smith doesn’t believe a trade is imminent

Donovan McNabb has dominated the headlines for the last 48 hours, so it seems only fitting that we begin to close out this workweek with yet another update Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News recently caught up with No. 5′s agent, Fletcher Smith, who said he hasn’t had any conversations with the Eagles about which teams McNabb may or may not like to play for. “If we get to that bridge, we’ll have to cross it,” Smith told Bowen. The longtime Philadelphia quarterback became the subject of an internet frenzy that started on Wednesday when reports surfaced that Eagles head coach Andy Reid said the team has been entertaining offers for the six-time Pro Bowler.
