Good behavior helped Vick’s case

Michael Vick’s good behavior since signing with the Eagles helped limit his suspension to just two regular-season games, according to team president Joe Banner. On Thursday, after NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced that Vick’s conditional suspension would end after the second week of the regular season, Banner described Vick as a “model citizen” since joining the team and promised that Vick would uphold his promise to continue working with animal-rights groups. “Our understanding is that the commissioner has been talking to our organization and [head coach] Andy Reid on a pretty regular basis,” Banner said. “He met with Michael this morning, and I think he came out of it feeling very …
