Former Eagles safety Brian Dawkins has no regrets about signing a free-agent contract with Denver, which he has helped get off to a 5-0 start. It’s no secret because Eagles safety Quintin Mikell speaks to his former defensive teammate weekly. “He’s enjoying it,” Mikell said. “He’s having a good time.” Meanwhile, back in Philadelphia, it has become the job of Mikell and rookie free safety Macho Harris to try to make fans forget that Dawkins no longer plays for the Eagles.
