Ingram’s rookie year may be over already after ACL tear

The Eagles knew they took a chance when they drafted Cornelius Ingram in the fifth round of the draft after he had missed the entire season at the University of Florida with a torn ACL. It looks like that might happen again after Ingram was diagnosed with the exact same injury to the exact same knee. Ingram originally suffered the injury Tuesday in a goal-line drill. It was diagnosed then as a hyperextension, until an MRI on Saturday showed the tear. “It wasn’t what we anticipated,” Eagles coach Andy Reid said upon learning the diagnosis. Reid said it was too soon to tell if Ingram will be place on injured reserve, which would effectively end his season. But he didn’t sound optimistic …
