Injuries, preceded by a clearing of the throat, are always the lead item at an Andy Reid news conference. The Eagles’ coach does things that way as a matter of procedure, but the importance of those details should never be underestimated. You can analyze the red-zone and short-yardage failures that doomed the Eagles to defeat in the last two games, against Dallas and San Diego.
