The Eagles lost Brian Westbrook only 10 snaps into tonight’s game, but they still had their top playmaker. Despite another dysfunctional offensive effort, DeSean Jackson’s two big-strike touchdowns helped the Eagles open their NFC East slate by crushing the Redskins in their own home, a 27-17 romp at FedEx Field. Jackson had scampered 67 yards down the left sideline untouched on an end around when Westbrook’s helmet collided with Rocky McIntosh’s knee on the Eagles’ 10th offensive play.
