Maclin sidelined; Curtis could return Sunday

Jeremy Maclin has torn one strand of his plantar fascia, Eagles coach Andy Reid said yesterday. The bottom line seems pretty much the same as it was Sunday night, when Maclin had to leave the Eagles’ 45-38 victory over the host Giants – Maclin should miss a couple weeks, a setback for the receiver who ranked second among NFL rookies going into last weekend with 623 receiving yards (on 46 catches), but not a season-ending mishap.Maclin was maneuvering on crutches as he left the visitors’ locker room Sunday night at the Meadowlands, but he didn’t seem to be putting his weight on the crutches, he was sort of swinging them along like really large walking sticks.Reid said he could make a roster …
