LeSean McCoy said Monday he was “a little nervous” when he slipped and sprained his thumb Friday at practice. It turns out the rookie running back had nothing to fear. Some athletic tape and a makeshift splint was all he needed to get back onto the practice field for Monday’s minicamp. McCoy took part in the entire practice and said he felt no major effects from the left thumb sprain. “It felt good,” he said. “It wasn’t that big a deal.” The injury happened inside the team’s practice bubble Friday since rain had forced them indoors.
