Contrary to popular opinion, it wasn’t Andy Reid’s idea to gamble on Michael Vick. Nor was it Joe Banner’s or Tom Heckert’s. And it’s already clear that owner Jeffrey Lurie wanted nothing to do with the once imprisoned quarterback. The person most responsible for Vick’s arrival in Philadelphia is, ironically, the same one many fans believe has the most to lose from Vick’s presence here.
