McNabb praised for poise

Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb sometimes is criticized for rarely leading the Eagles to fourth-quarter comeback victories the way Peyton Manning and Tom Brady do for their teams. Sunday night, that changed. McNabb rallied the Eagles to a 24-20 win over the Chicago Bears by completing 13 of 14 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown after the Bears had taken a 17-12 lead in the third quarter. He finished the game 23-for-32 for 244 yards and two touchdowns. He finished the night with a quarterback rating of 101.6. The Eagles are 43-1 when McNabb has a rating of 100 or higher, which includes the playoffs. They’re 17-0 when McNabb’s completion percentage is higher than 70. It was 71.9 percent …
