McNabb says rib injury improving

Donovan McNabb, who watched from the Eagles’ sideline as Kevin Kolb quarterbacked Sunday, told a team spokesman yesterday that like Andy Reid, McNabb believes his fractured rib is progressing, but he can’t say whether he will play Sunday against Kansas City.”I think there is a process that is going on, and the progression makes you feel confident that things are going to be better,” McNabb said. “Hopefully, it will be quicker than later.
