Off the field, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick talks the walk

There’s nothing in his locker to suggest the horrors of the past two years for Michael Vick, no reminders of his fall from grace. He is a football player again and his cubby hole at the Eagles’ practice facility has no bars. In between the lockers of fellow quarterbacks Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb, it offers reflective solace and one small message from a well-placed bumper sticker: Talk the Walk. Usually a sign of bravado, the message has a far different meaning here than in any other player’s stall. Vick is talking . . . to impressionable kids and young men about his involvement in the revolting world of dogfighting and the price he paid for it. At least twice a month, a humbled Vick …
