Offensive line remains Eagles’ biggest problem

When the Eagles leave this afternoon for Indianapolis and tomorrow’s exhibition game against the Colts, there will be a few empty seats on the plane. They won’t be taking new quarterback Michael Vick, who isn’t eligible to play until the final two preseason games, preferring to delay Ookie’s road exposure as long as possible. That’s interesting, but perhaps not terribly meaningful, which ultimately may describe the entire addition of Vick to the team despite all the hoo and hah of the last week. Much more important to the Eagles’ season is the long list of players who won’t make the trip because they aren’t physically ready to play. The regular season begins in 25 days. That’s a lot of …
