Had the Philadelphia Eagles’ preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars been a game that counted, the Birds would likely have been flying high pretty easily. The Eagles’ first team dominated the Jaguars. But as it was, the Eagles needed five field goals from David Akers, some big defensive stops and a fourth-quarter surge to hold off the Jaguars 28-27 for the first win of the Kevin Kolb era.
