Philadelphia Eagles sign coach Andy Reid to contract extension

The Eagles today signed head coach Andy Reid to a three-year contract extension. Since being named head coach on Jan. 11, 1999, Reid has compiled the best win total (115), winning percentage (.611) and playoffs victory total (10) in team history. He has won five division titles and his teams have earned playoff berths in seven of his first 10 seasons. Reid, 51, is the second-longest tenured head coach in NFL behind Tennessee’s Jeff Fisher (16 years).
