Playoffs no big deal for Eagles

There was no extra celebration in the locker room. There was barely a word even mentioned. Yet there the Eagles are again, in the playoffs, for the eighth time since 2000, as if it’s become almost automatic. Ho-hum, yeah, whatever. It’s not that the Eagles are nonchalant about the playoffs. They clinched a spot after their 27-13 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. It’s just that they’ve been there before, and they know there is so much left to accomplish. For example, there’s winning the Super Bowl, which the Eagles have never done. Yet all of this seemed unlikely this season when the team was decimated by injuries in training camp, not to mention the death of defensive coordinator …
